Introduction

Thank you for choosing Serenith Cleaning Services for your home cleaning and organization needs. To ensure the safety of our team, clarity of your expectations, and the quality of our service, below you will find our rules and policies.

Bookings, Payments, and Scheduling

  • Payment Methods: Zelle, Venmo, bank transfer, credit/debit card
  • Final Payment: Outstanding balance is settled on the day of service
  • Non-refundable 25% deposit required upon booking.
  • Extra time fee adjustments are approved with prior communication and client authorization.
  • Rejected payments must be resolved before the service begins.
  • Rescheduling: Notify at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing the deposit.
  • Late rescheduling (< 48 hours) or lack of access after 15 minutes requires a new 25% deposit.
  • Same-day cancellations incur a 75% charge of the total service value.

Home Preparation and Access

  • Preparation for Cleaning: Remove obstructing items, secure valuables, store dishes, and ensure an accessible vacuum.
  • For move-in and move-out cleanings, the property must be completely free of trash, debris, and belongings; otherwise, additional charges will apply.
  • We do not work while other contractors, such as cable companies, moving companies, or technicians, are present in the home. If other contractors are present, we will leave, and you will be charged the full cleaning amount.
  • Home Entry and Alarms: Be present, provide a garage code or lockbox; notify us of code changes to avoid false alarms.
  • Service Hours: Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sun 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., arrival ± 1 hour from the agreed time.

Service Scope and Safety

  • Safety and Scope Guidelines: Only use a 3-step ladder, do not move heavy furniture/appliances, do not climb higher.
  • Working in the Home: Distraction-free environment; children and pets secured; no smoking near staff.
  • Home Requirements: Running water, electricity, and adequate temperature.
  • Biohazards: We do not clean mold, infestations, or hazardous materials (requires special quote).
  • Valuables: Secure under lock and key and inform us of special items.

Pets

  • Pet Safety: Pets must be in a crate, closed room, or designated area.
  • Loose pets: Cleaning is the customer' s responsibility and there is no guarantee of service .

Guarantees, Inspection, and Quality

  • Final Inspection and Guarantee: All cleanings must be inspected before our team leaves the premises. We do not offer re-cleaning services; no monetary refunds are provided.

Responsibilities and Exclusions

  • Breakage and Damage: Scratches on old floors, cracks in aged tiles, damaged or worn blinds, cracked glass, or other items showing wear or instability; we cover up to $100 for our errors (with proof).
  • Client Vacuum Disclaimer: We check equipment, but we are not responsible for failures.
  • Some tasks are outside our scope.

Tasks Not Performed

  • Biohazard cleaning (blood, mold, bodily fluids) — requires special quote.
  • Removal of large amounts of trash or debris.
  • Pet waste cleaning.
  • Cleaning inside washers, dryers, or dishwashers.
  • Cleaning cat litter boxes.
  • Using our vacuum on pet-soiled carpets.
  • Cleaning insects, rodents, or excrement.
  • Cleaning full refrigerators/freezers (requires prior emptying).
  • Guaranteed results for blind cleaning.
  • Washing, loading, or storing dishes.
  • Emptying diaper pails.
  • Cleaning delicate light bulbs or lamps.
  • Moving heavy or large furniture.
  • Changing bed linens (except if clean linens are provided).
  • Climbing higher than a three-step ladder.
  • Washing walls, baseboards, or grouted tiles (can be quoted separately).
  • Carpet and grouted tile cleaning.
  • Removal of large materials or construction debris.
  • Cleaning inaccessible areas: such as behind large furniture or in spaces that cannot be safely reached.

Optional Additional Services

We offer a variety of complementary services to address specific needs of your home. If additional tasks are requested during the service, we will assess availability and, if feasible, add an extra charge; otherwise, we will schedule a new appointment.

  • Blinds cleaning and disinfection. (For fragile or damaged blinds, cleaning is at the client’s responsibility).
  • Oven interior and bottom drawer (broiler). Removal of grease and burnt residues from the interior.
  • Refrigerator interior. Emptying, cleaning, and disinfecting shelves, interior walls, and drawers.
  • Tops of cabinets. Removal of dust, grease, and accumulated dirt from the top surfaces of kitchen cabinets.
  • Interior window cleaning. Cleaning of glass, frames, sliding tracks, and sills on accessible windows.
  • Range hood cleaning and disinfection. Removal of accumulated grease and disinfection of the interior and grilles.
  • Garage sweeping and organization. Sweeping of the garage floor and basic organization of stored items.
  • Basic pet care. Arranging beds, cleaning food areas, and removing light dirt. (Subject to hygiene and safety conditions of the area).
  • Wall cleaning. Removal of dust, light stains, and superficial marks on accessible walls.

No Solicitation Policy

  • Direct hiring without authorization incurs a $2,500 fee.

Privacy, Data, and Legal Aspects

  • Scope of Application: Valid for all services (residential or commercial) in Idaho and surrounding areas.
  • Privacy and Data Protection: We collect only name, address, email, and phone; we do not share with third parties; you may request access, correction, or deletion via our email info@serenithcleaning.com.
  • Image Policy: Before and after photos are taken while respecting privacy.
  • Liability Exclusion: Not responsible for indirect damages, loss of profits, or client equipment failures, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. We do not cover client equipment failures or pre-existing structural conditions.
  • Conflict Resolution: We will attempt to resolve amicably; if unresolved, mediation or arbitration per the Idaho Chamber of Commerce.
  • Applicable Law: Laws of the State of Idaho, USA.

Tips

Voluntary and appreciated; not included in the invoice. Can be left in cash or added to the payment, based on satisfaction.
